Hello!

After many starts and stops, I have finally committed myself to blogging! I decided to use Blogger for its simplicity and since, as many of my friends know, my life is already pretty much owned by and dependent on Google anyway.

Though I used to journal with Jess, Maggie, and Sophie in high school, blogging is very different and new to me. Putting my thoughts into words can be challenging (as Tim guessed), but it's the fact that the result is public--with an audience comprised of people that I know from so many different contexts and in so many different ways--that makes blogging a true challenge. Having recently graduated from and been forced to leave college, I hope that this blog will help me to record and share my new memories with my friends. Thank you to Angela, Tim, Winnie, Sarah, Sophie, and others who have shared their lives through their blogs and have motivated me to start blogging myself!

The name of this blog is the same as that of my Tumblr (where you can find some pictures of mine): myumyumyu. Obviously, this is my (first initial + last name)*3. Incidentally, I realized that my (last name + first initial) = yum. I love food, so this is quite a happy coincidence, and you'll likely also see this aspect reflected in my posts :)
